Understanding the Email Address Selector
Overview
When composing an email in the Enquiry Wizard, you may need to add or change the recipients of your email. Rather than typing email addresses manually, the system has its own built-in address book called the Email Address Selector. You can access it by clicking any of the recipient buttons — To, Cc, or Bcc — in the Email Composer.
The Three Tabs
The Email Address Selector is divided into three tabs, each giving you access to a different set of contacts. Here is what you will find in each one:
In Enquiry This tab shows you all the recipients who have already been involved in the current enquiry. If you need to reply to or include someone who has previously sent or received an email as part of this enquiry, this is the quickest place to find them.
Global Address List This is your organisation’s central directory. It contains a list of everyone in your organisation and is useful when you need to reach a colleague or internal team.
My Contacts This is your own personal contacts list. You can add and build this list over time, making it easy to quickly find people you correspond with regularly. Contacts added here are only visible to you.
What Should You Do Here?
Click the tab that is most likely to contain the person you are looking for, find the correct contact, and select them to add them to your email. Once you are happy with your recipients, close the selector and continue composing your email.
