Logout Button

The Logout button allows you to securely end your session and makes sure no data is retained in your browser. It replaces the old Switch Tenant button to provide a clearer and safer way to log out, whether you have access to one tenant or multiple tenants.

Logging out is important to:

  • Securely end your session
  • Clear browser cache so no data is left behind
  • Confirm that you have successfully left the system

Before, users with access to only one tenant had no obvious way to refresh their session. The Logout button fixes that by giving everyone a consistent method to exit safely.

How it works

  1. Click the Logout button in the menu
  2. Your session ends and EMS Cloud clears any cached data
  3. You are redirected to the tenant selection page
  4. A confirmation message appears at the top of the page stating:

“You have successfully logged out”

Things to keep in mind

  • The Logout button works for all users, whether single-tenant or multi-tenant
  • Your session is terminated immediately, and no EMS Cloud data remains in your browser
  • After logging out, you can either close the browser or log in again as needed

In short

The Logout button provides a safe, clear, and consistent way to leave EMS Cloud. Click it, end your session, and you will see a confirmation message on the tenant selection page to let you know everything is complete.
